Supervision over the recording of items bought until delivering them to the warehouse
Supervision over the price of goods bought so that the interests of the organization are secured
Determining and identifying the resources of purchase for all goods
Carrying out the other tasks assigned in occupational terms based on the command of the superior authority

Description of the responsibilities of the environment health unit
- Coordinating and taking action to launch the hospital’s health and infection control committee and actively participating in it and following up the relevant approved terms
- Preparing and compiling educational materials and establishing educational meetings related to the environment health and general health for the different ranking staff
- Supervision and intervention in signing hospital services contracts and claiming medical inspections card, laborer examination card and general health training certificate for the personnel subject to law
- Inspecting the state of the water used in the hospital (public and private networks) and making the relevant filings
- Controlling the consumption water in qualitative and quantitative terms and carrying out periodical microbial, chemical and chlorine assessment tests through reference to the guidelines, standards and status quo
- Hygienic supervision, evaluation and control over different stages of collection, maintenance, separation, transferring, temporary maintenance and disposal of hospital thrash and preventing the sale and recycling of hospital thrash
- Hygienic supervision and control over the mode of disposal of the hospital wastewater and proposing appropriate practical solutions in case it becomes a problem
- Sampling the outgoing wastewater of the wastewater recycling system in accordance with the instructions announced (in case of the existence of refinery) aimed at investigating the quality of the refinement of the wastewater
- Controlling the insects and rodents while prioritizing the improvement of the environment, the hygienic disposal of the thrash, and if needed, the principled use of chemical methods and preventing the activities of the illegal spraying companies
- Supervision and intervention in preparing and application of the hospital’s disinfectant and cleaning materials
- Necessary action to prepare clothing and required accessories for spraying and disinfecting (dresses, hats, gloves, masks, boots, etc.) and providing poisons and disinfectants and other instruments and tools used in spraying and disinfecting in coordination with the hospital administrators
- Investigating the technical and hygienic status of the proper air conditioning system in the hospital (heating and cooling) and follow-up to solve the possible existing problems
- Follow-up and action regarding the hygienic and protective affairs of the irradiation unit with the help of the health physics manager
- Regular technical and hygienic supervision over the work of the kitchen including the kitchen’s environmental health, the state of the refrigerator, the foodstuffs collection warehouse, washrooms, the individual health of the staff, the staff resting room, washing and disinfecting the dishes, washing and disinfecting the raw vegetables used, the hygienic state of the ready-to-cook materials, the tools and dishes used, etc.
- Necessary supervision and coordination in the cycle of preparation, cooking and distribution of foodstuff in cooperation with the nutrition expert to ensure the health of the distribution and consumption of food
- Permanent supervision and control over the affairs of the laundry room and observing the safety and health measures in terms of separating the infected clothes from non-infected clothes while washing, using automatic washing devices, appropriate detergent and disinfection materials and ironing the clothes in the infected and polluted section (Explanation: in using the disinfectants, care should be taken in choosing its type and the permissible amount so that it doesn’t cause the impairment of devices and the clothes)
- Regular contact with the health and treatment deputies in coordinating the executive affairs, guidelines and supervisory affairs in the hospital
- Recording the actions and official correspondence and making accurate and organized filings in such a way that the chain of activities and follow-ups is completely accessible and noticeable (documentation)
- Supervision over the safety and active contribution to accident and impairment reduction inside the hospital including [regarding] the window coverings, fire extinguishing tools, warning systems, medical capsules, etc.
- Providing improvement solutions as the most principled method of containing carriers
- Carrying out the tasks assigned under special circumstances such as controlling pandemics and countering crises and accidents
- Raising awareness and preventing smoking in closed and general environments in the hospital
- Supervision and adequate hygienic control over all units; cooperation and coordination with the administrators and managers of different sections in occupational terms and designated organizational responsibilities
